Mike Goss, the managing member of Crescent Presentations LLC, will talk about “Political Islam – Issues and Actions” on October 14th at the Tavares Civic Center. (Doors open at 6pm with a 7pm start.) Mike is a retired Naval Intelligence Officer whose first exposure to Islam was in 1989 as Executive Officer, US Navy Anti-Terrorist Alert Center (reserve unit). He is also a former CIA officer who served 24 years in various senior leadership capacities across the Agency. He achieved Senior Intelligence Service rank, CIA’s version of a Flag Officer. Mike later worked as Vice President of BAE Systems for six years before retiring to Florida. He is an expert on Political Islam Mike’s comprehensive talk is organized into several sections including an overview of Islam, Sharia Law, women under Islam, and “Civilization Jihad.” His presentation extensively uses visuals and graphics which makes it much easier for anyone to quickly understand the key concepts discussed.
