Freedom is critically important to me.
Our Nation was founded on principles of Freedom. The first colonists who arrived from Eurpoe sought religious, social and economic freedom.
In our time, Freedom means Individual Liberty. Our Freedom is mainly enshrined in our Bill of Rights, the first 10 Amendments to the US Constitution.
Our Founders recognized that our Rights were inherent to us – God given, not granted or even recognized by government. Our Government is PROHIBITED from undue infringement on our Rights.
As your Representative in Tallahassee, I will always keep in mind that Government needs to be limited to its proper role, and that WE the People are Masters of the Government, not its subjects.
Defending Individual Liberty and controlling the power of Government will always dominate my thinking.
