I like privacy. So did our Founders.

I thought I lived in a country with a government that respected privacy.  That is no longer the case.

We are being watched, surveilled, monitored, and recorded.

Businesses do it for for profit – and we all help them – with Google searches and apps, using Microsoft and Apple services, on Social Media.  Government uses that data – including pictures – often without our knowledge.

But, more troubling is the fact that government itself is openly surveilling us more and more every day.  Claiming that it is only for safety or law enforcement does not make it acceptable.

To me, mass surveillance by any government entity is the same as a warrantless search – unconstitutional!

But, it’s not just cameras.

Our cars now transmit and receive digital information – and we don’t know what is being sent and received.

AI adds another layer of government intrusion into our lives.  Amazon, Youtube, and others have been using computer algorithms to make suggestive purchasing suggestions or video suggestions.  Will the government use AI to predict Future Crimes?

Anyone remember the movie Minority Report?
